David graduated with his Bachelor of Science from the University of Hartford
in 1973 and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami, School
of Law in 1976. He is admitted to practice in all Florida Courts. David
joined the firm in 1988 and rapidly distinguished himself as a superior
trial attorney. His understanding of complex litigation matters and his
ability to zealously represent his client's interest in a realistic and
ethical manner has earned him the respect of his peers and the role of an
arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. He is frequently called
upon to lecture at Florida Bar seminars, particularly on the complex issues
surrounding the field of construction law.
David is a member of the Florida Bar Association and is Board Certified in Construction Law. He serves on the Construction Law Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. In addition, David maintains his membership in the Broward County Bar Association, where he has served as a member of the Board of Directors as well as Vice Chairman of its Construction Law Committee (1995-1996) and as its Chairman in 1997.
David has been recognized by his peers as well in being named as a Legal Elite by Florida Trend Magazine and a Florida Super Lawyer (2006, 2007, 2008), and is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.
In addition to his devotion to his profession, David is also strongly committed to his community as evidenced by his role as Chairman of the City of Hollywood's Planning and Zoning Code Revision Committee (1992-1994) and membership in the City's Downtown Development Task Force (1992-1993). He was a member of the City of Hollywood Board of Appeal and Adjustments from 1994-2001 and served as its Chairman from 1995-2000. He has served as President of Temple Beth-El in Hollywood (1992-1994 and 1995-1996).
