A highly respected litigator and specialist in construction law, David B. Mankuta has a deep understanding of real estate, construction and other commercial matters. He was one of the first attorneys in Florida to be board-certified in construction law, and holds Martindale Hubbell’s highest “AV” rating.
Mankuta represents his clients’ interests in professional and ethical manner through litigation and arbitration. Whether inside or outside the courtroom, he focuses on resolving disputed issues is an efficient, satisfactory manner.
Mankuta joined the firm in 1988 and has more than three decades experience as an attorney. He earned his juris doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law in 1976 after graduating from the University of Hartford in 1973. He is admitted to practice in all Florida courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District and Middle District of Florida.

Mankuta is a member of the Florida Bar Association and serves on the Construction Law Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. He is also a member of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee “I”.
He is also active in the Broward County Bar Association, where he has served as a member of the Board of Directors as well as vice chairman of its Construction Law Committee in 1995-1996 and as its chairman in 1997.

- Member of the city’s Downtown Development Task Force, 1992-1993
