J. Kyle Hooper

Kyle joined the firm in 2005.  Born and raised in Burlington, NC, Kyle graduated in 1994 from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications.  Kyle pursued his legal studies at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida where he distinguished himself as a West Publishing Merit Awards recipient and Deans Fellow, graduating cum laude with a degree of Juris Doctor.

Prior to joining the firm, Kyle spent several years working as an Assistant Vice President of Retail Banking for both Citibank, F.S.B. and Wachovia, N.A. in Washington, DC.  He was formerly registered as a member of the NASD and the SEC and a licensed insurance agent in the District of Columbia.  Kyle is a member of the Florida Bar.

Kyle is a member of the firm’s Community Association Law group and Land/Use Administrative Law group.  His practice includes representing condominium associations and home owner associations with a variety of legal matters, including declaration or covenant enforcement issues, collection matters relating to assessments and special assessments, statutory requirements relating to the day-to-day operations of the Association, and unit owner and board rights.
