Founder of the firm in 1966 and a Broward County resident since his early
childhood. Wilson has practiced law in Broward County for over 40 years.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, majoring
in Accounting and Insurance from the University of Florida in 1963 where
he distinguished himself as a Delta Theta Phi and Florida Blue Key member.
He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida School of Law
in 1966.
Wilson is admitted to practice in Florida Courts, United States Tax Court and the United States Court of Appeals in the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits. He is also a member of the American, Florida, Broward County and South Broward Bar Associations.
Actively involved in the business development of his community, Wilson served as President (1987) and on the Board of Directors of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. He also served as a Director of the Commercial Bank of Hollywood (1975-1988) and as an Advisory Director of First Union National Bank (1988-1990). His many civic activities have included positions as the Director and Chairman of the Downtown Hollywood Redevelopment Committee (1983-1988), Commissioner of the South Broward Park District (1982-1985), Commissioner of the South Broward Hospital District (1984-1990; Chairman 1985-1986), and as a Former Chairman of a Florida Bar Grievance Committee which oversees lawyers' activities (1980-1982). He most recently served as a board member for Leadership Broward Foundation.
Wilson's knowledge and experience in business matters as well as state and local governmental activities and functions, particularly with respect to matters pertaining to land use and zoning make him a valuable resource to all departments within the firm. He is often utilized by the real estate and litigation departments as well as the tax department as his insight into the interrelationship between governmental and business matters is invaluable.
