An intensive involvement in a wide variety of civic activities has seen the Firm's attorneys counted among South Floridians shaping the area's future. Firm members have served in such prominent positions as the Florida Senate, the Governor's High Technology Council, the Broward County Commission, the South Broward Hospital and Parks Districts, the Chamber of Commerce and the Community Redevelopment Agency. The Firm's professional staff play active roles in a variety of other community, business, professional and charitable organizations, including service on the governing boards of major financial, educational, health care and civic institutions.
In addition to their community involvement, the Firm's attorneys serve in leadership capacities in the legal profession by participating in state and local bar associations and committees related to their special disciplines. Since 1979, the Firm has had attorneys serving on the Florida State Bar Grievance Committee, which actively polices the legal profession to ensure that consumers receive the highest quality legal services. Firm members have served on the judicial Evaluation Committee of the State Bar and the Broward County Bar Association judicial Selection Committee evaluating the credentials and qualifications of State and County judges. Firm members have also served as leaders of The Florida Bar and The Florida Bar Foundation.
